Christmas market at Lake Tegernsee

On the first Sunday of Advent (December 1, 2024) The Kreuth local associations’ Christmas market takes place at the Leonhardstoana Hof in Kreuth. This special highlight can only be enjoyed every two years. Conveniently located just a few minutes’ walk from our hotel, it offers exclusively homemade handicrafts, cookies, mulled wine, and numerous delicious Advent treats. Enjoy this special Christmas market with lots of love and tradition. Musical accompaniment and a visit from St. Nicholas at 4:00 p.m. to make children’s eyes light up create a special atmosphere in the mountaineering village of Kreuth.

Visitors to the Christmas hut magic in front of the romantic backdrop of Tegernsee Castle can expect grilled specialties, traditional handicrafts, and a varied music program. Literature lovers can join a Christmas walk with the Tegernsee local guides or be captivated by the Christmas play “Und des am Heiligen Abend…” (And on Christmas Eve…) by the Tegernsee Folk Theater.
